What's a max bid?

Mostly large size photos (15cm x 10cm), showing a crew of a successful bomber unit; in flight, plus photos of a celebration of 400 flights, taken on Russian Front: some photos have captions on reverse, reading: postcard (1) with handwritten notes by “Herbert” with the words: “A reminiscence of the year of the war 1942.”  The card describes the names of titles of the men in the photograph, beginning with “Our Crew from left to right: Master Sergeant Lindner the chief captain...” and continuing with several names and the author's signature at bottom. postcard (2) with handwritten note: “Pilot and observer of a warplane.”; photo (3) written and signed by “Herbert,” which reads: “For remembrance of the year of the war  1942; your brother, Herbert; photo (4) Two Airmen/pilots celebrate their combined total of 700 “Feindflüge” or flight missions; photo (5) a bomber pilot (same airman in photo 4) is congratulated on his 300 flight missions. Photos in worn condition, showing age, use, couple with slight damages, but generally in good condition.
