In die struck bronze, obverse illustrating the left-facing bust of Daniel Francois, Count of Lautrec, surrounded by the Latin inscription "D.F. COMES A LAUTREC LEGAT. REG. AD PAC. GENEV. 1738" (Daniel Francois, Count of Lautrec, Advisor to the King for the Peace of Geneva 1738) and engraver marked "I. DASSIER" (Jean Antoine Dassier), reverse illustrating three figures, two men at the left in Roman attire, the one at the far left with a shield in his left hand, the one in the centre holding a mirror and a snake aloft in his right hand, with a woman at the far right in robes, holding a balance of scales in her right hand and grasping a cornucopia in her left hand, inscribed in Latin "FORTITUDO PRUDENTIA AEQUITAS" (Courage, Prudence, Justice) above and "CONSPICUAE IN VNO." (Remarkable in One Man) below, 54.5 mm, very light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: Daniel Francois, Count of Lautrec was the French envoy at the discussion for the Peace of Geneva. The medal was issued as part of Jean Antoine Dassier's Geneva Series.
