Belt is fabricated from a thick leather with a smooth finished brown upper and a smooth finished light brown underside, dark gray finished receiving clip on the left end, a tab stitched in place on the underside with a smooth finished light brown upper on the right end, the tab with seven rows of two holes each for length adjustment, emboss stamped "110" at the right end on the underside, emboss stamped with a partially visible maker mark and dated hamburg "1938" where the belt wraps around to the left underside, emboss stamped with the Kreigsmarine control stamp consisting of a stylized left-facing eagle over an "M" on the underside beside the wrap around, the belt measuring 44 mm x 1,180 mm. Scattered paint wear on the receiving clip, light contact and surface wear on the upper, light discolouration on the underside. Near extremely fine.This particular belt is illustrated on page 109 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.
