A 1940 RAF Battle of Britain Booklet & Football Match Programme

Entitled "THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN AUGUST-OCTOBER 1940" with the Royal Air Force insignia, subtitled "An Air Ministry account of the Great Days from 8th August - 31st October 1940." Published by His Majesty's Stationery Office in London, issued by the Ministry of Information on behalf of the Air Ministry and published in 1941, the booklet describes the air battle fought in the skies over Britain against Germany in the Second World War. Cover is printed in dark blue ink on a thick sky blue cover stock, with thirty-two pages of text printed in black ink, 137 mm x 212 mm, dual staple-bound, light creasing on the cover. Accompanied by a copy of a War Charities Representative Football Match Official Programme, printed in black ink, entitled "Royal Air Force versus Scotland", dated November 25, 1944 at Sheffield Wednesday Ground, 4 pages, 125 mm x 210 mm. Near extremely fine.
