What's a max bid?

A Brunswick Silver Bullion Duel Sword Portepee c.1850 -  Badge illustrating a crown on an oval platform, the crown in silver gilt bullion wire, outlined by a raised frame, the centre of the frame in angled silver bullion wire and trimmed on either side by rows of wrapped silver wire, the oval sitting on a base with star points surrounding the oval in alternating rows of silver bullion wire and overlapping sequins, white embroidered underside covered by a white paper backer on the reverse, the badge measuring 73.8 mm x 84.2 mm, silver bullion cord in a weaved pattern sewn to the top on the reverse, two portepees sewn to the bottom, each wrapped in two rows of rolled silver bullion wire where they butt the rows of star points, the wooden stems wrapped in rows of fine silver bullion wire, three sides of the heads finished in multiple rows of silver bullion wire, with vibrant light blue coloured embroidery in the recessed area of the heads and white cloth on their reverses, measuring 84.2 mm x 197 mm inclusive of the loop, badge and portepees, dark patina overall, light wear and fraying in the fabrics on the reverse, gilt loss on the crown, near extremely fine.
