What's a max bid?

First World War Group of Four, to Corps Staff Sergeant Rodger Jarvie, SBStJ, St, John Ambulance Brigade of Hamilton, Ontario: Order of St. John, Breast Badge; British War Medal (158584 GNR. R. JARVIE. R.A.); Victory Medal (158584 GNR. R. JARVIE. R.A.); and Service Medal of the Order of St. John (5917 R. JARVIE 1949). Naming is officially impressed on the First World War pair and engraved on the SMOStJ. Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran/serving brother, original ribbons, intact enamels, light contact and surface wear, very fine.

Footnote: Rodger Jarvis served as a Gunner with the Royal Artillery during the First World War and for his service during the war, was awarded the British War Medal and the Victory Medal. He later immigrated to Canada, settling in Hamilton, Ontario, where he served as a Corps Staff Sergeant Rodger with the St, John Ambulance Brigade.
