Ceramic, obverse illustrating a partially-draped man crossing water, holding a long branch in his right hand with a small branch with leafing extending from the left side of the main branch, a cherub sitting upon his left shoulder, inscribed "KRAFTFAHR-ERS ABTEILUNG 12" (Motor Vehicle Reserve Department 12) above and "KAISERSLAUTERN" below, the inscriptions separated by sunwheel swastikas on either side, reverse with a paper disk printed in red and black inks pasted in place, inscribed "ANNEMIE FISCHER für Ihren Tanzabend im Rahmen der geistigen Truppenbetreuung Kf.Ausb.Abt.12 / Kf.Ers.Abt.12" (to Annemy Fischer for a dance in spiritual support of the troops of Kf.Ausb.Abt.12 / Kf.Ers.Abt.12 (Kraftfahrzeug Ausbildungs Abteilung 12 / Kraftfahrzeug Ersatz Abteilung 12 = Motor Vehicle Training Department 12 / Motor Vehicle Reserve Department 12)) and signed by the "Major u.Abt.Kdr." (Major und Abteilung Kommandeur = Major and Division Commander) in black ink, marked "Kaiserlautern, 1.12.42 " (December 1, 1942), with an official stamp in blue ink bearing the left-facing eagle inscribed "Kraftf.-Ausb.Abt.12" (Kraftfahrzeug Ausbildungs Abteilung 12 = Motor Vehicle Training Department 12), hole on the reverse for wall-hanging, 112 mm, extremely fine. In its wooden box of issue, tongue and groove corners, lift-up lid, box also extremely fine.
