Croatia. A Fine Second War Group to the 369th Regiment
A Fine WWII Period Croatian Grouping of Awards to a member of the 369th Reinforced Infantry Regiment (German: Verstärktes Kroatisches Infanterie-Regiment 369) - comprising: group of five, mounted as originally worn Croatian style: Order of Iron Trefoil Third Class with Oakleaves (for gallantry in action), inn non-magnetic metal, partially enameled; A. Pavelic small Silver Bravery Medal, in silvered bronze; Order of the Crown of Zvonimir Third Class, in bronze gilt and enamels; Iron Cross 2nd Class 1939, magnetic; East Front medal, in zinc; attached to the bar is Commemorative Badge of the Croatian Expeditionary Forces (Croatian Legion) in Russia “Hrvatska Legija 1941”, in aluminum; Silver Wound Badge, in silvered zinc; General Assault Badge, in zinc; Army/Heer breast eagle; a copy of NCO’s photo taken from his Wehrpass or Soldbuch; in generally very fine condition, slightly worn. This grouping was obtained from a family in Australia about 20 years ago, unfortunately name of the recipient was not revealed. Medal bars mounted Croatian styles are very rare.
