A First War 158th Infantry Battalion Shoulder Title Pair; Browning copper, maker marked "O.B. ALLAN" on their reverses, 15.5 mm x 53 mm, intact prongs, residue in the recessed areas from cleaning, extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised and mobilized in Vancouver, British Columbia under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed November 14, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel C. Milne with a strength of 31 officers and 966 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 1st Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
