What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Imperial: Wound Badge, Black Grade (blackened silver, maker marked "GODET BERLIN" and marked "938" (silver) on the reverse, 13 mm x 16 mm); Bavaria: Prince Regent Luitpold Medal 1905 (bronze, 13.7 mm x 17.3 mm); Third Reich: Faithful Service Decoration, 2nd Class Cross for Twenty-Five Years' Service (silvered silver with black enamels, 15 mm); Imperial: Hindenburg Cross (bronze, 14 mm); Bavaria: Military Merit Order, 4th Class Cross with Swords (silver with blue, white and black enamels, 16 mm x 18 mm); and Prussia: Iron Cross 2nd Class (silver with black enamels, 14.7 mm). Mounted to a chain with dual strands of wheat links, a 34.2 mm stickpin on the left end and a gilt button hole attachment maker marked "Godet Berlin" on the right end, intact enamels, scattered silvering wear on the IC and on the FSD, near extremely fine. In their box of issue, maker marked "J. Godet & Sohn Hof-Juwelieres Berlin W" on the inside lid, deep navy velvet med bed insert, wear evident along the hinged edge on the exterior, box near extremely fine.
