What's a max bid?

A First War DSO Trio - MID at Vimy Ridge - An Interesting D.S.O. and WW1 Pair, Distinguished Service Order, George V, WWI War and Victory Medals with MID leaf, (impressed: LT. COL. W. GRASSIE.), court mounted for display. EF. Footnote: William Grassie was born on 27th July 1872 in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. He joined the 43rd Canadian Highlander Battalion. CEF on 18th December 1914 as a Major, having seen previous service of five years in 79th C.H. of C. and 3 years in Hamilton Field Battery. On 9-10-1916 he became T/ Lt. Colonel to command the 43rd Battalion. Received three MID’s from Sir Douglas Haig on 13th November 1916, 9th April 1917 (Vimy Ridge) and 7th November 1917. Comes with copies of Service Record as well as the three original MID certificates and one transmittal envelope. DSO- LG.30111. 14-7-1917. CG. 28-7-1917.
