Iron with a bronze-coloured gilt, magnetic, maker marked "H.M." (Heinrich Muth, Hanau) on the reverse, 37.5 mm, lightly soiled independent ribbon, spotting on the obverse, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, marked "Treue um Treue" and "von Hindenburg" on the inside lid, lightly soiled recessed medal bed, case also near extremely fine.
