What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

A First War Mark II 22nd Infantry Battalion; 2nd Canadian Division Helmet; British-made, steel, non-magnetic, in brownish-green, red circle above a navy blue rectangle painted on the front, the circle representative of the 22nd Infantry Battalion, the rectangle representative of the 2nd Canadian Division. The protective edge of the helmet in a magnetic steel. Inside, steel-framed cradle supporting a blackened canvas liner with underlying burlap support and leather backer, mesh support with drawstring, stamped "HV" and "555" ("H" indicating the manufacturer, W. Hutton & Sons Limited of Sheffield; "V" indicating the steel manufacturer, Vickers Limited of Sheffield; and "555" the steel batch number) on the underside of the helmet at the front, with pressed fabric and intact rubber ring in the dome. The leather chinstrap along with its hardware remains intact. Helmet measures 295 mm x 312 mm x 120 mm, exhibiting bubbling and contact marks on the exterior, wear evident on the liner and chinstrap, as worn.
