What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Canada; Two-piece construction, red felt maple leaf with a blue, white, green and black embroidered University of Toronto coat-of-arms, the maple leaf sewn in place to a large blue felt "T" base, white felt backer, 175 mm (w) x 202 mm (h), scattered mothing, blue embroidered background on the coat-of-arms frayed, part of the white embroidered "L" on "VELUT" missing, near very fine.

Footnote: The University of Toronto is a public research university in Toronto, Ontario, on the grounds that surround Queen's Park. It was founded by royal charter in 1827 as King's College, the first institution of higher learning in the colony of Upper Canada. Originally controlled by the Church of England, the university assumed the present name in 1850 upon becoming a secular institution. As a collegiate university, it comprises twelve colleges, which differ in character and history, each with substantial autonomy on financial and institutional affairs. It has two satellite campuses in Scarborough and Mississauga.
