A First War Prussian Observer’s badge (Beobachter Abzeichen); in silvered brass; hollow construction; with a finely enameled square insignia consisting of white, black, and red enamels mounted to the center via two fine rivets visible on the reverse; the square insignia within a wreath consisting of oak and laurel leaves; a bow on the bottom with a Prussian crown on the top; maker marked with a star on the vertical pin; measuring 73.50 mm x 46.41 mm; weighing 26.0 grams; near extremely fine condition.
