What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A German Imperial Army (Heer) Telegrapher's Belt Buckle

In stamped brass with nickel silver face plate affixed by two soldered rivets, brackets riveted in place on either end on the obverse in order to hold the steel frame that supported a reel of telegraph wire, reverse is unmarked, measuring 46.87 mm x 104.5 mm, very fine.

Footnote: From the collection of approximately 900 German buckles accumulated by John R. Angolia, who start collecting buckles, belts and brocades from 1944 until around 1990; most of the buckles were obtained from the American and German veterans; most of these buckles present a core of Angolia’s book “Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich”, published in 2001.
