Buckle in bronze on the right end, unmarked, the buckle illustrating the Hanover coat-of-arms in the centre surrounded by a wreath of laurel leaves, the buckle measuring 48.7 mm. Belt fabricated from a very thick leather with a smooth finished black upper and a raw underside, the buckle stitched in place where the belt wraps around to the reverse, a tab with a smooth finished black upper and raw underside stitched in place on the left end, the tab emboss stamped with the "C. HENKEL BIELEFELD" (Carl Henkel Bielefeld) maker mark, with five rows of two holes each for length adjustment and a silvered metal receiving clip, two sliders with matching smooth finished black uppers, the belt measuring 43 mm x 1,120 mm. Light contact and green oxidation evident on the buckle, scattered silvering wear on the receiving clip, light crazing present on the uppers on both the belt and tab. Near extremely fine.
