A Late Second War German Field-Made Honorary Certificate for Winning a Horse Race
A unique and one-of-a-kind Honorary Certificate for winning a Half-Blood Horserace at the Sports Festival at the Regiments Bereich 4, issued to Funker (Radio Operator) Adam Schewski, on August 8, 1945. The certificate is crafted on the back of a 143 mm x 203 mm piece map, the obverse of the map coloured with blue/purple pen or pencil crayon, with the reverse of the map (the obverse of the certificate) is handwritten in neat black German Gothic writing. The map itself depicts the area near Cuxhaven in northern Germany. The certificate has been dual-hole punched on the left side, with blue/purple colouring seeping through the paper through age. Overall a very unique piece in better than fine condition.
