A lot of six picture postcards, all measuring 148x104mm, near mint condition with slight age-related discolouration on the backs. The postcards are from the series “Die siegreichen Fahnen und Standarten der Wehrmacht” (the victorious flags and standards of the Wehrmacht), numbers 2, 3, 6, 7, 12, and 21. All have been designed by artist Gottfried Klein. #2: Reichskriegsflagge (Reich War Flag) The card reads: “Der Dienst in der Wehrmacht ist Ehrendienst am deutschen Volke.” (“Service in the Wehrmacht is honourary service towards the German people.”) #3: Oberbefehlshaber des Heeres (Supreme Command of the Army) The card reads: “Der Soldat hat getreu seinen Befehlen auf jedem ihm zugewiesenen Platz seine Pflicht zu erfüllen.” V.
