A mint and extremely fine quality manufacture Deutsches Rotes Kreuz/German Red Cross Decoration 3rd Class; crafted in gilded bronze and white, black, and textured red enamels; on loop for suspension (unmarked); with its mint period-original ribbon; measuring 40.10 mm x 40.00 mm; weighing 15.3 grams. Accompanied by its original case of issue; constructed of heavy pressed paper with a red faux leather (leatherette) exterior; with a lined lid embossed with the LDO logo, and a recessed medal bed; functional spring catch with spring stud; intact interior fabric hinge cover; functional exterior metal hinge; measuring 75 mm x 70 mm; mint condition.
