Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

A Mint HJ Leaders Brocade Dress Belt with Buckle by Christian Theodor Dicke

In frosted silver stamped aluminum, marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) and maker marked "M4/22" (Christian Theodor Dicke) on the reverse, illustrating an eagle with down-folded wings perched on the HJ diamond insignia, inscribed "Blut und Ehre" above on a serrated circle with a rope border, the buckle measuring 50.5 mm, with matching receiving clip on the left end. Belt is fabricated from a fine aluminum wire with two rows of black nylon on the upper, the edges and reverse in chocolate brown cotton, with paper tag printed in red ink and glued in place on the underside of the belt near the receiving clip, the tag marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) and Hitler Youth insignias, inscribed "Hersteller" (Manufacturer) and "Reichjeugmeisterei der NSDAP", maker stamped "M4/3" (Hans Schonfelder, Mittweida), marked with a large "L" and a smaller "A" and numbered "No 005421", smooth finished butterscotch leather tab stitched in place on the underside at the buckle end, the tab with fourteen rows of two holes each for length adjustment and marked "90" in pencil, two sliders on the belt, the slider at the buckle end with a brown wool and cotton flap stitched in place on the reverse, the belt measuring 45 mm x 1,070 mm. Scattered silvering wear on the buckle and receiving clip, the belt with very minor interruptions in the fabric. Near extremely fine. A similar belt with buckle is illustrated on page 282 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.

Footnote: From the collection of approximately 900 German buckles accumulated by John R. Angolia, who start collecting buckles, belts and brocades from 1944 until around 1990; most of the buckles were obtained from the American and German veterans; most of these buckles present a core of Angolia’s book “Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich”, published in 2001.
