This is a mint and unissued numbered, labeled, and dated envelope containing a set of forestry Forst Referrendar collar tabs; the tabs in their original cellophane wrappers; constructed of very fine quality manufacture aluminum twisted wire in the shape of four twigs, one in each corner, each with three oak leafs and two acorns and a single oak leaf with an acorn in the centre; with a forest-green woolen backer, standard buckram core, and edged on all four sides with fine quality twisted wire fastened to the sides using invisible green threads; measuring 57 mm x 41 mm. Accompanied by their factory attached quality control tags, numbered “5710” with its description, dated “17.6.38”, and with the factory’s maker mark “Thile & Steinert, Berlin”; with its crimped seal (magnetic). With its original envelope; labeled “Collar tab for Forst Referrendar”, numbered “5710”, dated “17.6.38”, and with the factory’s maker mark “Thile & Steinert, Berlin”; measuring 161 mm x 113 mm; in top condition.
