A Polish Military Cross of the Armed Forces in the West 1939-1945 - "Krzyż Czynu Bojowego Polskich Sił Zbrojnych na Zachodzie". Silvered bronze, 42.6 mm x 42.8 mm, bronze gilt "ANKONA" clasp on an original ribbon, light contact, near extremely fine.Footnote: The award was instituted by act of the Polish Parliament on May 17, 1989 and awarded to former members of the Polish Armed Forces in the West. There are a total of fifteen bars which may be awarded with this cross, depending on the campaigns in which the recipient took part.
