What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A Pre 1914 Bavarian Belt Buckle c.1880-1890

Buckle in brass, with nickel-silver face plate affixed, unmarked, 64mm x 52mm, in worn condition, with small bumps to a face plate, circa 1880-1890 period manufacture. Bavarian buckles are similar to Prussian in construction and appearance, except Bavarian had motto "In Treue Fest" (as opposed to Prussian motto “Gott mit Uns”.

Footnote: From the collection of approximately 900 German buckles accumulated by John R. Angolia, who start collecting buckles, belts and brocades from 1944 until around 1990; most of the buckles were obtained from the American and German veterans; most of these buckles present a core of Angolia’s book “Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich”, published in 2001.
