Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A Rare 1928 Anti-Nazi Election Poster by German Democratic Party

An extremely rare and early poster issued by the German Democratic Party; measuring 29.3 x 20.4 cm, very fine condition. An election poster for the federal election of 1928 in Germany’s Weimar Republic. It shows a man on the outlines of the German borders, using a shield with the German colours to cleanse the country from vermin, swastikas and helmets, representing the right wing nationalist movements including the Nazi party, and red stars, representing the far left communist movement and bolshevist parties. Note the East Prussian region being attached to mainland Germany by two ropes, representing the bridging over the so called Polish corridor. The text reads: Cleanse the Reich! Elect German Democrats! List 6. List 6 stood for the DDP (Deutsche Demokratische Partei, German Democratic Party), one of several democratic parties at the time. They gained 4.6% of votes, finishing in 6th place of overall votes, forming a coalition with several other parties as the last true democratic government of Germany before Hitler’s rise to power. The poster was designed by Theo Matziko, and printed by Hugo Sensch in Berlin.
