A 1942 commemorative table medal for the campaign in Sevastopol; constructed of oven baked clay; the obverse with a large artillery gun, circumscribed “Einnahme von Sewastopol 1.July.1942” (Conquering of Sevastopol 1.July.1942); the reverse with a map with multiple statistics, such as prisoners taken, and guns/vehicles captured, circumscribed “Dem Deutschen Soldaten ist nichts unmöglich” (Nothing is impossible for the German soldier); measuring 51.19 mm; weighing 25.5 grams; mint condition.
