What's a max bid?

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A Rare Croatian Order of Merit; Third Class Ladies Cross

In silver and enamels. Cross measures 28 x 28mm, mounted on a bow style 20mm wide ribbon. This particular example is a very first issue of this Order, having flat 'not raised above the enamel- Croatian coat of arms ('pleter'). Later, more common examples have this silver section ('pleter') raised above the enamel. Of good quality make, slightly worn, enamels intact and without chipping. Without maker's mark, although Zagreb's 'Braca Knaus' was the only maker of this award. Cross is toned, and in very fine condition. Extremely rare.
