Belgium; Badge in die struck bronze, 30.9mm x 49.4mm, with lugs on reverse, center with inscription in raised letters, in Dutch "Trouw aan Joris Van Severen - Abbeville - 20 Mei 1940" (Loyalty to Joris van Severen -Abbeville - Mai 1940). in extremely fine condition, rare.

Footnote: this award come in two classes, silver and bronze, and both are rare. The award was established after the murder of the Flemisch Verdinaso organization Leader Joris van Severen (at Abbeville, France ), on 20.04.1940 . The goal of the VERDINASO (“Verbond van Dietse Nationaal Solidaristen”), was unity of Flanders with the Netherlands.
