A Romanian Order of Michael the Brave; Knight’s Cross - in silver gilt and enamels (marked 900 on ring), 40.22mm (x 58.5mm including crown suspension), WWII period issue, dated 1941 on obverse and 1916 on reverse, no damages to enamels, with original ribbon, in extremely fine condition. Footnote: The Order of Michael the Brave(Romanian: Ordinul Mihai Viteazul) is Romania's highest military decoration, instituted by King Ferdinand I during the early stages of the Romanian Campaign of World War I, and was again awarded in World War II. An excellent high quality example.
