Accompanied by an Army Presidential Unit Citation (gilt metal frame housing an ultramarine blue ribbon, 15.2 mm x 36.5 mm); an Army Meritorious Unit Commedation (gilt metal frame housing a dark red ribbon, 15.5 mm x 36.5 mm); a Private Chevron (two-piece construction, dark green wool sewn upon a navy blue wool base, 68 mm x 73 mm); a United States Army Service Collar Tab (bronze, 25.2 mm); a United States Army Infantry Collar Tab (bronze, 25.4 mm); two Private Collar Rank Insignias (blackened metal, 15.2 mm x 22.2 mm); an Army Marksman Qualification Badge with RIFLE Clasp (silvered and blackened metal, marked "ANTAYA G.I." and "1/20 SILVER FILLED" on the reverse of the Badge and "I.I.C. 1/20 S.F. G.I." on the reverse of the Clasp, 26.2 mm x 40.5 mm); and an Honorable Service "Ruptured Duck" Veteran's Pin (bronze, 12 mm x 17 mm, on its card of issue). Footnote: 35839114 Private Frank C. Iiams was born in 1920 and a native of Ohio. He had two years of high school education, performed a number of jobs as a Driver in his civilian life and was married, when he enlisted with the Army on May 15, 1944 at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Lawrence, Indiana. He signed on for the duration of the war and an additional six months thereafter.
