Bronze gilt and enamels, engraved "JAMES JEROME" in capitals on the reverse, 35.2 mm x 43.5 mm, original ribbon with brooch pinback, extremely fine. Accompanied by its 3.8 mm x 17.2 mm enameled Ribbon Bar, along with assorted research papers.Footnote: Jerome James was born on September 27, 1917 in Ohio. His education consisted of four years of high school, was a single man with his trade being that of Draftsman before he enlisted. He died on December 25, 1977.
