What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A Second War Finish 18th Division Medal Bar - Order of the Cross of Liberty, Military, 4th Class Silver Cross 1941 (silver with black enamels, 38.5 mm x 65.8 mm inclusive of its dual arms and wreath suspension); Medal for Bravery (of the Order of Liberty) 1939, 2nd Class (bronze, 29.5 mm); Winter War Medal 1939-1940, Type III to Finnish soldiers, 1 Clasp - KARJALAN KANNAS (blackened iron, 31.5 mm x 36.8 mm, crossed swords clasp on the ribbon); Continuation War Commemorative Medal 1941-1945 (bronze, 31 mm); 18th Division Cross (two-piece construction, enamelled shield affixed to a silvered cross base, 40.5 mm); and Homeguard Volunteer Service Cross (bronze gilt with white and blue enamels, 42 mm). Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, original ribbons, oridation spots on the reverse of the Homeguard Cross, light contact and gilt wear evident, better than very fine.
