A second war German “Verwundetenabzeichen”; oval shaped gilded feinzink; the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm featuring a large mobile swastika on its side superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel wreaths with a tied bow at the bottom; the reverse plain with a vertical needle style pin, integrated hinge, and an integrated catch; measuring 43.94 mm x 36.66 mm; weighing 22.5 grams; with approximately 50% of the original gilding remaining; a gently worn example in near very fine condition.
