A second war German “Verwundetenabzeichen”; oval shaped gilded feinzink; the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm featuring a large mobile swastika on its side superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel wreaths with a tied bow at the bottom; the reverse plain with a vertical needle style pin, an integrated hinge, and an integrated catch; maker marked “30” for “Hauptmünzamt Wien” on the reverse directly above the catch; measuring 43.80 mm x 36.20 mm; weighing 26.7 grams; with the majority of the original gilt worn off, in overall near fine condition.
