A War Merit Cross Second Class with Swords; in bronze; on loop for suspension (marked “80”); without ribbon; measuring 47.19 mm x 47.92 mm; an Eastern Winter Campaign medal; in silvered zink; on loop for suspension (marked “19” for “Friedrich Orth, Vienna”); with a lightly soiled period original ribbon; measuring 36.37 mm in diameter; the ribbon bar with the correct ribbons of all three medals and awards, being for an Iron Cross 1939, a War Merit Cross with swords, and an Eastern Winter Campaign Medal; horizontal pinback with a green wool backer; measuring 45 mm x 18 mm; overall near very fine condition.
