Layaway Policy

Your contract will be automatically cancelled and ordered merchandise will be returned to inventory if full payment is not submitted by the three (3) month deadline.

What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Die-stamped bronze with a gold-coloured wash and green paint, 53.5 mm x 65.2 mm, one die hole in each of the the three points for uniform attachment, contact marks and surface wear evident on the wash, very fine. Footnote: The 1st Division Alpine "Taurinense" was a mountain division of the Italian Army based in Turin. The Division was established on September 10 1935, based on the 3rd and 4th Alpine Regiment and 1st Regiment of Artillery Alpina. Some departments were temporarily aggregates of the Division Alpine "Pusteria" and used in the operations of the Campaign of Ethiopia (1935-36). They served with the East Africa battalions "Exilles" and "Intra", and some batteries of artillery groups Alpine "Susa" and "AO". The staff of the Division was restructured in May 1937. The Division was also active during the Second World War, in various campaigns. By June 10, 1940, they were located in various points on the Alps front (Mont Cenis sector-Bardonecchia), involved in operations against France from the 10th to the 24th, occupying Bourg-St-Maurice St-Foy. By October 1940, there was a dissolution of the battalions "Valley", and the Alpine Division "Taurinense" was given the order to preside over the French territory between the border and the old armistice line. They landed at Ragusa, Italy in January 1942, to focus on Mostar, Croatia, as part of the XIV Corps. From April 15th to May 31st, they took part in anti-partisan operations in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina. By August, they were transferred to operations in Montenegro, where they performed garrison duties until September 8th, when, following the events resulting from the proclamation of the armistice, the Division was dissolved while they were stationed on the Adriatic coast, in the hinterland of the military base of Kotor.
