Measuring 300 mm with the scabbard on, this dagger features a 172 mm nickel-plated steel blade, magnetic, with a sharp edge, remaining bright and crisp, and having a very sharp tip. The handle is fabricated from aluminum, designed with a quillon, complemented by black synthetic plates embedded on either side and held in place by a single brass screw. The obverse of the handle has a bronze fasces insignia, while the pommel is fashioned in the form of an eagle's head. The nickel-plated scabbard is magnetic, designed with a ball finial, along with two pairs of rules defining the chape and locket areas, a bracket on the reverse securing a belt strap, the strap's upper in gold-coloured bullion wire and black embroidery, with a black finished leather underside, folded over and secured in place to the bracket via a silvered brass screw, with a support plate extending from the screw to the mid-point of the strap and held in place to the strap by a silvered rivet, the scabbard measuring 190 mm in length. The pommel and handle exhibit very light contact, the scabbard with one scratch near the bracket and light contact overall, the silvered brass screw on the bracket with chipping on either side of the screw slot on its head. Better than very fine.
