The scenes vary, from troop reviews, to religious ceremonies, studio shots, ship boarding, hunting expeditions, among others activities. The paper stocks range from a tradition stock, to a thicker one used by photography studios, with one even being board-mounted. All are black and white, some displaying a distinct sepia-tone look, ranging in size from 57 mm x 83 mm to 121 mm x 166 mm, in very fine condition.
