Embossed eagle and swastika insignia at the upper left, inscribed "Lieber Parteigenosse Giesler !", with the text in Gothic script inscribed "Für die mir zu meinen 52. Geburtstage erwiesenen Glückwünsche und Aufmerksamkeiten, über die ich mich ausrichtig gesreut habe; danke ich herzlich. Bayreuth, Januar 1943 Heil Hitler !", followed by "Ihr" and the signature of Fritz Wächtler in black ink, inscribed "Gauleiter des Gaues Beyreuth und Reichswalter des NSLB.", signed handwritten notation in black ink at the left with the date "18.1.43" (January 18, 1943), printed in black ink on an off-white pressed card stock, two die-holes in the left margin, 113 mm x 170 mm, extremely fine.
