Sleeve contains twelve postcards. The front of the sleeve illustrating the Spanish Volunteers insignia, with a shield bearing the Falange arrows fronted by an Iron Cross 1939, entitled "Voluntarios españoles frente al enemigo" in Spanish and "Spaniens Freiwillige am Feind" in German (translates in English as "Spanish Volunteers Meet the Enemy"), tagline at the bottom inscribed "Serie I: Estampas de la Division española de Voluntarios" in Spanish and "Serie I der Bildberichte von der spanischen Freiwilligen-Division" in German (translates in English as "Series I: Images of the Spanish Division of Volunteers"), reverse panel inscribed "12 Fotos de una Compañia de Propaganda alemana" in Spanish and "12 Aufnahmen einer deutschen Propaganda-Kompanie" in German (translates in English as "12 Photos from a German Propaganda Company") and coded "238 VI XX 5012" over "III/0005" at the lower right, the sleeve printed in red, yellow and black inks on an off-white paper stock, 202 mm x 260 mm when fully extended and 110 mm x 150 when folded to contain the postcards. Twelve postcards inserted into the sleeve with various scenes, each with postcard backers, with various taglines on their reverses, translated from English as: 1. Lieutenant Muñoz Grandes - Heroic and Victorious Commander of the Division of Spanish Volunteers in the Years 1941-1942, 2. Sappersof the Spanish Division, 3. Facing the Enemy, 4. Comrades Yesterday and Today, 5. One of the Bravest, 6. Running Forward, 7. Ammunition to the Front Line, 8. Sled Supply Reaches the Front Line through Mud, 9. Sentinel in a Russian Village, 10. In the Combat Zone and Historical Sites, 11. Short Break beside the Campfire, 12. Writing to Family, each of the cards printed in black and cyan inks, on an off-white thin card stock, 104 mm x 148 mm each. Sleeve with light soiling along with minor tears and wear, the cards remain unaffected. Near extremely fine.
