What's a max bid?

British War Medal (128618 GNR. E. GREY. R.A.); Victory Medal (128618 GNR. E. GREY. R.A.); Territorial Force War Medal (128618 GNR. E. GREY. R.A.); Defence Medal; Territorial Force Efficiency Medal (128618 GNR: - A.L. BMBR: - E.J. GREY. R.G.A.); and Special Constabulary Long Service Medal (EDWARD J. GREY). Naming is officially impressed on the four medals, the DM is un-named. Court-mounted, dark patinas on the two silver medals, extremely fine. Accompanied by copies of his First World War Medals Index Card (indicating that he was to receive the British War Medal, the Victory Medal and the Territorial Force War Medal, and that he had applied for the Territorial Force Efficiency Medal), his Territorial Army Attestation Paper and Service Records.

Footnote: Edward John Grey was born on August 2, 1894. He began his military career at the age of 10 with the Kent Royal Garrison Artillery on May 27, 1905, serving throughout the First World War and concluding his service with them on March 31, 1920. Grey enlisted with the Kent Coast Brigade, Royal Garrison Artillery on June 7, 1921, was appointed Lance Bombardier on July 27, 1921 and promoted to Bombardier on January 6, 1922, before being discharged on June 6, 1924 at Rochester. He re-enlisted with the Royal Regiment of Artillery, signing his Territorial Army Attestation Paper on January 13, 1925, stating his trade as that of Skilled Labourer. He later served during the Second World War.
