A Third Reich German-Jewish Passport Belonging to Lydia Sara Wolff

This is a rare Third Reich German passport belonging to a German-Jewish woman named Lydia Sara Wolff (maiden name Graf), born on October 5, 1892 in Bochum, Germany. The passport encompasses a total of 32 pages, with the first page titled Deutsches Reich Reisepass, featuring her full name, passport number 2806/39, as well as a bright stamp of the letter “J” (dated 28.1.39) to signify that the holder of the passport is Jewish. The second page features a photograph of Mrs.Wolff, with her signature, authentication stamp, and date of issuance (June 2, 1939 - at the German Consulate in Amsterdam). The third page lists her occupation (wife), place of birth (Bochum), place of residence (Amsterdam), figure (medium), face shape (oval), eye colour (brown), hair colour (light blonde) and special characteristics (none). The fourth page features a stamp that the passport is valid globally, and lists that the passport expires on June 1, 1940. There are several travel entries in the following pages that show that Lydia Wolff has visited Amsterdam, France, and Chile. Some pages are stamped “Ungültig”, meaning that the passport is either expired or otherwise invalid. It measures 165 mm x 110 mm, and is in better than extremely fine/near mint condition. (C:91)
