A Toronto Industrial Exhibition Association Award Medal - Silver, obverse illustrating the left-facing conjoined busts of Prince Albert and Queen Victoria, surrounded by an open-ended wreath of maple leaves, reverse with the coat-of-arms of Toronto in the centre, surrounded by four icons illustrating various fields of endeavour and inscribed "INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION ASSOCIATION OF TORONTO", reeded along the raised rims, 45 mm, one small spot on the reverse, very light contact, extremely fine. Footnote: The first Toronto Industrial Exhibition opened on September 3, 1879 and was the predecessor of the Canadian National Exhibition.
