What's a max bid?

A Kriegsverdienstkreuz 1. Klasse mit Schwerter; in silvered zink; slender vertical banjo style pin with an integrated hinge and an integrated catch; maker marked “4” for “Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid” on the obverse of the pin; measuring 48.76 mm x 47.97 mm; in very fine condition but with all of its original silvering worn off. Accompanied by its original case of issue; constructed of heavy cardstock with a textured black faux leather (leatherette) exterior with an outline of a War Merit Cross with Swords embossed in silver on the outside of the lid; lined interior lid with a recessed medal bed; functional spring catch with stud release; intact interior fabric hinge cover; functional exterior metal hinge; measuring 68 mm x 69 mm; overall very fine condition.
