Klasse ohne Schwerter; maltese cross in bronzed tombak; on loop for suspension (unmarked); with a period original ribbon; the obverse pebbled, with a circular raised border of oak leaves on the obverse with a raised mobile swastika in the center; the reverse with a circular raised border of oak leaves bearing the institution date “1939” in raised numbering; measuring 47.97 mm x 48.11 mm; weighing 21.3 grams. Accompanied by its packet of issue, with “Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse ohne Schwerter” printed in black gothic lettering on the obverse, and with “Katz & Dehble, Pforzeim” printed on the reverse; measuring 106 mm x 58 mm; extremely fine condition.
