What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A Wehrmacht Streifendienst Aiguillette

The Streifendienst cord is fabricated from interwoven aluminum thread cord, divided into three sections: the first section having the cord braided into a flat knot that transitions into a four-strand braid, and then again into a flat knot. Measurements: 5.6cm knots, 60.5cm centre braid, 80cm total. Some fraying evident one a few spots, but overall better than fine condition. Footnote: The Wehrmacht Streifendienst (Army Patrol Service) was created in 1941 because the Wehrmacht had already experienced discipline problems during the polish campaign and the campaign in the West. With the upcoming Operation Barbarossa in mind, it was clear that the Feldgendarmerie (Military Police) would be fully occupied and that support would be needed to deal with minor disciplinary issues. The Streifendienst did not serve as an independent branch and did not receive their own insignia's. Instead, these units were created temporarily in each military district (Wehrkreis) from their original unit. Their membership of the Streifendienst was solely indicated by the wear of this aiguillette on the right shoulder.
