Instituted in 1957. Type III with "1972" . Insignia in silver with red and white enamels, mounted to a five-pointed star base, I Class as designated by the single star above the pyramid, marked with a spoked wheel, maker marked "A.B. & Co" (Arthus Bertrand) and marked "925" (silver) on the pin, measuring 95.5 mm (w) x 91 mm (h), vertical pinback flanked by dual stays, intact enamels, insignia sits loose versus the star base, extremely fine.
