(Order of Agriculture) Issued 1932 by King Ahmad Fuad I. Of outstanding manufacture consisting of a five armed silver base with a Gold overlay, 1.00 mm thick layer of Gold affixed to silver base by 10 small gold pins, multicoloured enamels, crescent moon with 3 stars adorned arm tips, silver hallmarked on reverse as well as gold hallmarked on crown suspension loop, 18k gold content, stork for Gold, and date letter "I" denoting manufacture 1934-35, measuring 62 mm (w) x 96 mm (h - inclusive of Gold crown suspension with crescent moon peak), on period ribbon, with old enamel repairs to laurels, otherwise very fine. Scarce.

Dr. Goodwin had a successful career as an educator and prominent physician in New York as well as actively serving in both World Wars with the United States Medical Corps. He maintained further membership with the American Society of Military Collectors, the International Orders Research Society, and the American Numismatic Society.
