Near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, wooded-framed on both the lid and base, with a steel blue cloth fabric exterior, the bottom covered in a mid-tine blue cloth, the lid bearing the name of the order, the inside of the lid lined in white satin and padded, with a foil maker's label inscribed in English and Arabic "MAISON TEWFIK BICHAY CAIRO", raised platform with recessed and slotted medal beds in white velvet, manufacturer's card glued in place in the base, latch closure, measuring 138 mm (w) x 286 mm (l) x 56.5 mm (h), extensive wear and soiling evident on the exterior, soiling on the white satin inside lid and the white velvet platform housing the medal beds, peeling back of the white satin fabric overlying the hinged area, fair.
