Ethiopia: Sash Badge: multi-piece construction, silver gilt with white enamels, with hand-painted scenes on each of the three enamelled panels, illustrating Christ at the top, the Virgin Mary at the lower left and the Dove of Peace at the lower right, maker marked Arthus Bertrand on the ring, 82.3 mm x 112.7 mm inclusive of its crown suspension, on its full-length original sash; and Breast Star: two-piece construction, silver gilt with white enamels, with hand-painted scenes on each of the three enamelled panels, with the same three icons in place as the Sash Badge, maker marked Arthus Bertrand on the pin, 78.3 mm x 78.5 mm, vertical pinback. Intact enamels, very light contact, extremely fine. Accompanied by its 9 mm rosette with button hole attachment, in their hardshelled case of issue, maker marked "ARTHUS BERTRAND Paris" on the inside lid, raised platform with a recessed medal bed, lightly scuffed and exhibiting two pieces of tape residue on the exterior, case very fine.
